Specs / Camera Info

The Lite Touch Zoom 70WS AF is a relatively modern film camera released by Nikon in 2002, and one which we've found can perform well above what you might expect from its fairly average specs. It has a quite a sharp coated Nikon Zoom lens (albeit f/5.6-10) with accurate autofocus and auto-exposure. We were pretty blown away with how it performed, particularly indoors with the flash in use, and the colour balance and flash adjustment contributed towards some very nice photos. The zoom range begins nice and wide at 28mm and extends to 70mm, and its macro abilities allow for close-ups as close as 60cm (at any zoom setting). It was the successor to Nikon's Lite Touch Zoom 70W from 2000, with the main difference being an update in the design which looks pretty swish if you ask us. It also comes with plenty of the expected features from a modern-era compact, including powered film advance, powered rewind, DX-decoding, auto-loading, LCD display, flash modes (auto, suppressed, forced and slow-synch, plus red-eye reduction), self-timer, rewind override, and infinity focus mode. Takes 1x CR123A battery.
